Bidding starts from a set minimum bid price (usually $1). The minimum bid is always visible to all bidders, as it is the dollar amount required to place a bid on the lot. Bidders can place a bid using the listed minimum bid price, or place a higher dollar amount and let the application automatically bid against any other bidders up to the higher dollar amount entered. The application will only bid as much as is necessary to beat the current winning bid, and never over the amount the bidder entered into the bidding form. When the auction lot time expires, the highest bidder wins the item. The lot expiration time is not extended past each individual listed lot closing time.
Online bidding through www.1stStrike.com is not available for this type of auction - Bidders must be present at the auction site or connected via internet through www.Proxibid.com. Not all items are available for online bid. Please check each item you are interested in to make sure what bidding options are available.
No registration fee, buyers' premium, taxes, or title transfer fees. If auction items are paid by Credit Card there is a 4% surcharge. All other forms of payment have no fee. Storage fees will be incurred by the buyer for items not removed from the auction site prior to the pick-up deadline.
For your convenience, if you enter a bid in an online auction that is higher than the minimum listed for that lot the application will bid on your behalf. You can enter the maximum amount you would like to pay and do not need to return to bid again if someone bids against you. The application will start you at the minimum bid listed for the lot you have bid on and only raise your bid if someone else bids against you (or has let the application bid on their behalf by placing a bid higher than the minimum listed bid). The application will never raise your bid higher than the maximum you put in and will only raise your bid enough to ensure you remain the highest bidder. Should two bidders enter the exact same amount, the first bid is considered the higher amount. Your maximum bid is never visible to other bidders and is always kept confidential. Here at 1stStrike we do our absolute best to ensure as much detail and accuracy as possible when we list items. However, each Buyer is solely responsible for inspecting and judging each Consignor's lot for their own protection. Lots are sold "As is, where is" and "In it's present condition". While we inspect and list mileage, hours, condition, and other factors we must sell our Consignor's property without warranties as to the condition and/or fitness of the property for a particular use.
An auction where the property is sold to the highest qualified bidder with no limiting conditions or amount. The seller may not bid personally or through an agent. Also known as an auction without reserve.
Due to the public nature of outcry / on site auctions and the more confidential nature of online auctions, online registration through 1stStrike will allow you to bid on online auctions only. Before bidding at each outcry auction you must register during inspection at 1096 Van Horn Road. A valid Drivers license or other form of state or federal ID is required to register. We do this for your protection - it ensures the same person who registered is the only one who can pay for and pick up items which they have won (or authorize their agent to pick up items for them).

Yes. In order to have someone else remove the property you have purchased from 1stStrike, you must provide a letter of authorization. The letter must include the name of the person you are authorizing to pickup the property, the sale and lot number of the item, and must be signed by you, the purchaser. In addition to the letter of authorization, the person must present a photo id, prior to removal; otherwise removal will not be permitted.
You can choose to place a bid and compete in the auction. The items in this type of auction have a reserve price that is less than the buy it now price. Once the reserve price is met, the item will say "Reserve met". With this auction you may win it for less than the buy it now price, or you may lose to someone willing to pay the difference. If the item has not been purchased before the auction closes, but has met the reserve price, it will go to the highest bidder.
